  • Multiplayer Epic bug fix (cars can now pass through second gear on multiplayer). This is a temporary fix until Epic fixes that on the engine (hopefully on UE5.1)

BETA 1.2 (MAY 20TH 2022):

BETA 1.1 (APRIL 22TH 2022):

  • Engine, drift and surface sounds with Metasounds
  • Other cars and bikes are not yet compatible with this version. We are now working on it.

BETA 1.0 (APRIL 9TH 2022):

  • First conversion to Chaos Vehicles for Unreal Engine 5
  • Known issues:
    • Sound cue parameters are not working (they did on UE5 preview): Which means that engine sound does not adapt to RPM. Drift sounds are not adapting to different surfaces. You can also check this bug on their own vehicle template (Engine sound not adapting to RPM)
      • We have fixed this issue by implementing metasounds (drift effects coming soon)
    •  Scene Capture 2D - Additive composite mode not working: Which means that glass and paint damage are not being rendered properly.

Keep in mind that these are UE5 bugs. Of course we have reported it and hope that Epic fixes them as soon as possible. You can see some other users referring these bugs here:
