VERSION 3.2 - UE5.1 (JUNE 11th 2023):

  • Multiple warning removal
  • Vehicle customizer multiplayer bugs fixed

VERSION 3.1 - UE5.1 (MAY 24th 2023):

  • Fixed issue with extra car templates' driver's hands IK
  • IK offsets modified for UE5 mannequins
  • Car Paint base material modified to fix issue with UE5.2 and "is dirty" option

VERSION 3 - UE5.1 (MAY 10th 2023):

  • Removed multiplayer fix (it was necessary to fix a bug from Epic's side that has finally been fixed)
  • Optimization fixes for unusual situations
  • Scrape sound added on continuous collision
  • Surface sound effect fixed when vehicle is on air
  • Recovered simplified combination method with bikes

  • Scene Capture 2D - Additive composite mode not working on UE5: Which means that glass and paint damage are not being rendered properly. FIXED ON UE 5.0.3

BETA 1.4 (JUNE 17TH 2022):

  • Multiplayer Epic bug fix (cars can now pass through second gear on multiplayer). This is a temporary fix until Epic fixes that on the engine (hopefully on UE5.1)

BETA 1.3 (MAY 24TH 2022):

BETA 1.2 (MAY 20TH 2022):

  • Physic actors overturning cars fix
  • Packaging issues fixed
  • Roadster compatibility ready. Other cars and bikes are not yet compatible with this version. We are now working on it.


BETA 1.1 (APRIL 22TH 2022):

  • Engine, drift and surface sounds with Metasounds
  • Other cars and bikes are not yet compatible with this version. We are now working on it.


BETA 1.0 (APRIL 9TH 2022):

  • First conversion to Chaos Vehicles for Unreal Engine 5
  • Known issues:
    • Sound cue parameters are not working (they did on UE5 preview): Which means that engine sound does not adapt to RPM. Drift sounds are not adapting to different surfaces. You can also check this bug on their own vehicle template (Engine sound not adapting to RPM)
      • We have fixed this issue by implementing metasounds (drift effects coming soon)
    •  Scene Capture 2D - Additive composite mode not working: Which means that glass and paint damage are not being rendered properly.

Keep in mind that these are UE5 bugs. Of course we have reported it and hope that Epic fixes them as soon as possible. You can see some other users referring these bugs here:
